I see the little fellow in the far right corner is throwing up gang signs.

Word.

HAHA Doug - good eye. Justin and I were looking through the photos before we sent them to John to post and noticed that he was doing this in EVERY photo we took. We had a good laugh, but if he only knew...

I think he's 6 or 7 years old.

How are you??

Mir, you look related to the woman in green next to you, that's intense! And what's Spiderman's name? He is such a little cutie.

I wanted to ask you to buy a dress while you were in India, to wear to the wedding, but I was worried it would be rude to give you an assignment while you were so engrossed in your own journey (especially after that day where you hand-scrubbed your own weak-old clothes O_O). But then mom told me that one of your hosts took you shopping! I wish I could have been in your pocket for that experience. Bet it was way different from Saks Fifth Avenue. Now I regret not asking you to look for something color-appropriate (I'm thinking May lilac trees and lily ponds, purples and greens). Maybe you still have time to find me something blue. You know: something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue- OMG look for a blue elephant! I'll use it as a centerpiece O_O. Snark.

Mom and Dad were trying to tell me about the Karmapa Lama, and I thought they just couldn't pronounce the name so they were saying it funny. But no, I then saw it written. It really is Karmapa Lama. That's the greatest title ever XD I mean it's got karma and llama and reminds you of Dali. Just reading what the title means literally gave me chills. It sounds like it would be/was really impressive to meet him, let alone study from him. Again, I wish I could have been with you, I imagine it was very rejuvinating.

I love Tracy's pictures. I think I might have said that in a comment before, but they really are gorgeous. They remind me of really fresh water, they're so crisp and clean, it's like I'm drinking an image. The Golden Temple with the bather looks like a photoshopped poster XD. Such beautiful colors, I wish you could bottle up the colors of India and bring them home for me.

I love you very much, and miss your quirk, your snark, your clairvoyance, and your all around unique youness. *Hugs*

hey avery, that's my homestay family. The "woman in green' is my mother named Nima. (Nima La in Tibetan for respect). The little boy is Tenzin Gyulme, my little brother. There is also an 11 year old daughter named Tseyang, and a monk named Kusho living in my house. I brought the two kids to this huge waterfall in a town called Bhagsu last Sunday, and people asked me if they were my kids :P
i bought a dress, but it's not those colors... but don't worry, i will be purchasing another one, so i'll think along those lines.
oh, and, you just wait to see the pictures i took :P you'll pee yourself.
i miss you, i love you, send me an e-mail b/c i don't receive these comments directly. (mlubell@live.com)
